Industrial Deployments Require Scoped Quotes
Camera-based observability for industrial facilities is not a per-seat SaaS. Deployment cost depends on camera count, facility layout complexity, RTSP stream accessibility from your current network, and whether on-premises processing is required for OT network isolation.
A food processor with 8 cameras and cloud connectivity is priced differently from a contract manufacturer with 40 cameras that require edge processing on an air-gapped OT network. Public pricing tiers don't reflect these variables accurately.
When you request a quote, we assess: camera count and stream accessibility, facility type and compliance requirements, IT infrastructure and network topology, and required SLA level. Quotes are delivered within 2 business days of the initial call.

Common Questions
Pricing is structured around deployment scope — primarily camera count and number of monitored sites. This is more representative of actual deployment cost than per-seat or per-feature pricing. A facility with 12 cameras and a facility with 48 cameras have meaningfully different infrastructure and onboarding requirements.
Yes. We offer a scoped proof-of-concept deployment — typically covering 4–8 cameras in one production zone for 30 days. The PoC includes full platform access, a dedicated deployment engineer, and a structured outcomes review at day 30. Contact us to discuss scope for your facility.
Misti works on IP cameras already installed in your facility (RTSP / ONVIF compatible). For cloud deployments, no on-site hardware is required beyond your existing network infrastructure. For on-premises deployments, Misti supplies a managed edge node — hardware cost is included in Enterprise plan pricing. There is no camera replacement required.
We primarily offer annual contracts, which align with the deployment commitment and onboarding investment involved. Month-to-month terms are available in specific circumstances (proof-of-concept extension, multi-site phased rollout). Annual contracts include dedicated deployment support and defined SLA terms.
On-premises deployment (available in Enterprise) includes an edge node managed by Misti, which adds hardware and managed infrastructure cost. Cloud deployment is lower total cost of ownership for facilities without OT network isolation requirements. We discuss both options during the scoping call so you can make an informed decision.
The GDPR/CCPA documentation package (Data Processing Agreement, worker notification templates, UK ICO reference documentation) is included in Professional and Enterprise plans at no additional cost. The DPA is available as a standalone add-on for Essentials customers who require it for compliance purposes.
